Research notes
Research notes are the living section of Lincoln & Belief. They record a source reading, a catalog find, a teaching idea, a correction, or a change in a repository route.
Dates describe publication or review, not invented historical events. Each note names the page or record it touches and links readers into the index or methodology so the update can be checked. A note may be brief, but its source trail should never be vague.
The cadence remains source-led. A note appears when there is something useful to clarify, not because a calendar demands a new claim. Readers can follow the related document, compare the method, and see whether the update changes the conclusion or only improves the route.
